Twenty Minutes with Cosentino, Grand Illusionist

Cosentino has no proper regard for his own life.

By his own admission, his shows are of the most consistently dangerous pieces of magic regularly performed on the anywhere on the planet. If he’s not about to drown himself, he’ll be setting himself on fire, or getting slashed in the face with a knife.

He’s achieved international recognition for his skills - this year he was given a Merlin Award by the International Society Of Magicians, putting him in the same ranks as David Copperfield and Penn and Teller.

The Australian magician has spent the last few years travelling the world with his act, spoils from his Australia’s Got Talent success that propelled him into the international spotlight.

We spent some time chatting to the guy, ahead of his coming to Auckland and Wellington this August as part of his Twisted Reality Tour.
