Another day on tour was spent hanging out with Kiwi musicians, listening to Kiwi music. If any of you aren't familiar with Dunedin's Anthonie Tonnon, the album he's about to release is amazing. Jump on that. Coffee shops were sampled, food was eaten, drinks were drunk. The bohemian lifestyle everyone seems to live over here is kind of addictive. Where I'm staying everyone either plays music, writes or is some kind of visual artist. I leave the house I'm staying at to hit the corner store, and walk past studio after studio. People drink and socialise on the streets, walking from spot to spot, yet there isn't the ever present seediness you feel hanging over you in Auckland. I could definitely get used to this.
