WG Top 100 Songs of the Year: 51-100

This is a tough task, in such a crazy whirlwind of a year we have seen such incredible movements in music as both entertainment and an art form. Yeezy went crazy, Beyonce went full sass, and Bon Iver went full weird, and the Chainsmokers just won't stop making the same song over and over again. We saw social media movements, hip-hop and gospel progression, anger, frustration, peace, and everything in between. We lost icons of an era, and we also gained some stellar new talent. Streaming services solidified their place in the music industry and Drake became the most popular artist on Spotify, ever. So, as 2016 draws to a close, we dig into the top 100 tracks of the year, we will skim through the bottom half first, and will go more in depth on the top 50 later.

100. "Closer" - Chainsmokers
